Duluth's Brighton Beach and Enger Park have reopened in time for Easter weekend, but portions of Skyline Parkway remain closed.

The city had closed Brighton Beach last week due to storm debris from Lake Superior collecting on the roadway, which had already been damaged by previous storms.  The debris has now been removed.

Elsewhere, Enger Park opened for the season Thursday.  Portable restrooms, which are used until the fixed restrooms are opened for the season, were brought in Friday.

Meanwhile, the seasonal reopening of portions of Skyline Parkway have been delayed due to recent weather.  West Skyline Parkway from 100th Avenue West to Becks Road remains closed, as well as East Skyline Parkway in the area of Seven Bridges Road.

Other segments of Skyline Parkway, including a stretch near Enger Park that was reconstructed last year, are open.
