KSTP reports that a truck driver drove into a crowded protest on I-35W in Minneapolis Sunday evening.

After driving into the crowd, the truck was swarmed by protestors who had an altercation with the driver, resulting in non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, the Department of Public Safety said it doesn't appear any protestors were injured.

The driver was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He is under arrest.

The Minneapolis Police Department says it is supporting the State Patrol in its response to the incident.
