The railway bridge spanning Highway 2 in Solway Township is going to undergo repair.  According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) will repair the bridge spanning Highway 2 about 1/5 of a mile West of the State Highway 194 and U.S. Highway 2 Intersection in Solway Township. 


Closures will begin on Wednesday, January 8 and end the evening of Wednesday, January 15, weather permitting.

MnDOT says traffic will be detoured around the bridge via Highway 33 and Saginaw Road, County Road 46. The daily closures will begin on 7:00 a.m. and reopen at 5:00 p.m.  No closures will be needed during the weekend.
