St. Scholastica's United for Africa and UMD's Black Students Association hosted Many Places: One People, the 2019 African Heritage Celebration at the CSS campus on Saturday.

While there, visitors were able to enjoy a variety of entertainment while embracing the areas cultural differences.

"Well our mission this African night is just to show how united we are as a people even though we come from different cultures and backgrounds," CSS Student, Marquise Diamond. "We do that by providing a bunch of different food, and in a little bit we'll start our performances, we'll have a bunch of different singing performances and dances as well."

Saturday's free event included dinner and a stage show with several artists while featuring delicious west and east African cuisine.
