In turn, CSS pulled local restaurants into the Student Union on Monday, as a part of the week's celebrations, to show students the robust food scene that Duluth has to offer.

Vita Pizza, Canal Park Brewing Company, and Blackwoods all had samples to share with students during the festivities.

The idea behind Monday's event was to help students feel like Duluth is their home away from home.

"Scholastica's all about community, and not just community on campus, but also in the City of Duluth," said CSS, Campus Activities Board Member, Sadie Nowak. "And I think it's so important to get students connected so they feel like they have a place not only at CSS, but in Duluth."

The festivities will continue on campus throughout the week. Thursday is the annual Quidditch match, which has become a recent tradition. Following on the weekend, the Saints will match up against Greenville University at 6:00 pm at Public Schools Stadium.
