Updated: December 12, 2019 12:01 PM

For the second time in two days, the Blatnik Bridge was closed due to a crash Thursday morning.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says Duluth-bound lanes of the Blatnik Bridge closed shortly after 10 a.m. due to a crash. The lanes reopened later in the morning.

There is no immediate report of injuries.

The crash came about 27 hours an earlier closure of the Blatnik due to a crash.  Roads in the area remain icy after a series of storms and subzero temperatures.

The Blatnik Bridge is the route for I-535 and U.S. Highway 53.
