Many of you are familiar with his voice. After all, Craig Holgate is on WTBX radio every morning. "I go into the office at 3:30 in the morning," he said.

The Hibbing man has been battling cancer for six years now.

Crafting became part of his journey. He takes old wood pallets and turns them into decorations for your home. "They have a rustic flair to them. Most pieces are outdoors related."

He gets his craft from his beloved mother, Doris. "She was a very creative person. A lot of craft ideas come in the middle of the night, when I can't sleep. I credit her for giving me some inspiration."

He recently had great success at the craft fair in Hibbing. And he shares those proceeds with the Angel Fund, which helps people with cancer. "I would say it's over $1000 now, in total."

Holgate doesn't have any plans right now for another craft show, but he said he may end up putting some pieces on Facebook to auction off for the Angel Fund.

So keep an eye on the WTBX Facebook page.
