On Wednesday afternoon, the courthouse in Virginia was evacuated after a bomb threat. According to the county, dispatchers received a call about an alleged bomb in the courthouse.


Staff and visitors immediately evacuated. The county said no suspicious item has been located, but the building was closed for several lhours.

According to the county, law enforcement is working to secure the building, and is quote, "aggressively taking steps to verify and address the alleged threat."
