Huge lines of country jam attendees were anxiously waiting to get in the festival to watch Whiskey Trail, Chris Janson, Joe Nichols, and Chase Bryant hit the stage.

"Chris Janson, Joe Nichols, they have a lot of good songs so that made me want to come, it’s pretty popular,” Alyssa Correll, an attendee, said.

"I love the music around here, they have a really good lineup this year it’s really cool,” Felicia Hraban, an attendee, said.

Cowboy hats and boots filled the park as thousands of country music fans enjoyed singing along to their favorite country performer.

"I like this about this set up everybody gets close, just a couple of feet in front of the stage. It’s real intimate and an enjoyable time, I like it,” Jake Birdseye, the singer for the Duluth country duo Whiskey Trail, said.

Whiskey Trail opened the show and performed a number of their popular songs like "Nashville" while also performing upbeat cover songs for people to sing along.

"Our harmonies and the way we interact with each other makes us different from a single performer," Heidi Pack, the singer for Whiskey Trail, said.

Fans were having a blast as they lounged at the park or on their boats and enjoyed the view.

"Everyone gets to come in and bring chairs, enjoy food and drinks, and get to hang out with friends and have a view of the lake,” Sheri Murray, a ticketing supervisor, said.

"Obviously the scenery is gorgeous. Having boats pull up and listen to music is so cool. There’s not many places like this, we are lucky to have it here,” Pack said.

And there were plenty of tasty food options for folks to snack on throughout the festival as well.

The weather wasn't ideal for the event due to the rain, but that didn't stop attendees from having a blast and dancing the night away.
