Imagine watching three movies at the same time. It may sound complicated, but it’s an innovative idea area filmmaker Jason Page used for his short film Context.

Page combines three 5-minute movies that share the same script into one viewer interactive movie. Each small film is comprised of a comedy, a drama, and a horror, and each was shot with different actors.

Page says there are multiple ways to watch the movie, too.

"There are many different ways you can come at context. It is in director's cut and simulcast. There's also a version you can take home with you called the viewer's cut which allows you to cut between the environments in real time subjectively, so everybody's cut of the film will be different,” said Page.

Page says the viewers can get a unique experience with the help of a virtual reality headset. With it, viewers can choose between each of the three films simply by rotating their head.

The premier of the film will be at 315 Studios in the Central Hillside neighborhood of Duluth.

"The world premier is this weekend starting Friday night, 6 to 9 p.m. It's hosted by Blacklist Artisan Ales. It's a free event for everybody. Screening is every 20 minutes, and we're also showing Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm," said Page.
