Thousands of people gathered in Cloquet on Saturday for another year of the Wood City Music Festival.

15 national and local Christian bands filled Veteran's Park for the 6th annual event.

There were two different stages for the one-day, non-denominational festival that was headlined by Kutless and also included Manic Drive.

Organizers say by holding the event they want to build a stronger community.

"We want to break down the denominational walls and realize that we are better as a team than we are individually," said Lee Harris, Wood City Music Festival organizer. This is made up of churches everywhere from Catholic churches to Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal. Everybody's involved," he said.

Harris adds the festival keeps growing in numbers each year.

It is made possible through donations.
