Plenty of people were out buying gifts on Christmas Eve. For some, it's a tradition.

Three siblings we met at Duluth Pack said they meet up every year and shop on Christmas Eve. "We have breakfast first. We have the stores mapped out. We do lunch. Then we wrap the gifts. It's a nice sibling day," shared Signe Hanson.

Her sister, Cara, added, "We love the stores in Duluth. We love to go to all the local places and check things out."

Their brother, Will, likes that he knows he's getting the perfect present for them. After all, they are picking them out! "I think it's a great way to do it. I don't usually know what to get. And it's way easier if they are here to pick things out. Then all I have to do is wrap!" he said.

For others, it's the fun of making the most of the last moments of the holiday shopping season.

Josh Teigen was picking some things up at the Miller Hill Mall. He's from Iron River. "I just like the mood. Everybody is happy. They're getting gifts. Getting stuff for their family. It's a lot of fun."

Legacy Toys was seeing some steady traffic. "Everyone is getting last minute toys. It's exciting to see that," shared Sara Gontjes, an employee.

Happy wrapping to all of you!
