Central St. Louis Co. Fair Bringing Fun to Meadowlands

The Central St. Louis County Fair is underway in Meadowlands, and will continue on Sunday.

This is the third of three fairs held in St. Louis County every summer. 

Saturday's event started with a river-to-river run followed by food and fun fair activities for kids.

"I like the kid games, it's just fun to see the kids having fun and getting together in the summer after they've been out of school for a while and haven't seen their friends as much as they want to so they get to go a little crazy and have fun," said Angie Simonson of the Meadowlands Fire Department.

Sunday is the largest day of the fair with a parade at 11:30. 

There's no charge to enter the fairgrounds, but you do need to buy a $1 button to enter the fair building.
