Authorities identified the man as 52-year-old Fredrick Luostari, who had been reported missing on Sunday.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says Luostari was last seen Thursday, Sept. 28. On Friday, his family found his car stuck in mud on the family's property on Rudolph's Road.

After searching in a wooded area, Luostari was found Tuesday afternoon on Becks Road, about a half-mile north from his residence.

The sheriff's offices says an autopsy was performed Wednesday. Results are pending, but foul play is not suspected.

Authorities continue to investigate.
