A retirement party was held for Bob King, who has been a photojournalist at the Duluth News Tribune for the past 39 years.

He says he is going to miss working there, but is also looking forward to the next chapter.

"Part of me is sad that I'm leaving because I loved my job, and loved my career, but just the outpouring of people is really touching for me, so I'm very happy," said King.

King says he is going to spend retirement hiking and enjoying time with his family. He says he will still do his Astro Bob astronomy blog.
