Bentleyville is currently being taken down. According to a Facebook post on the Bentleyville USA page, the thieves sawed off a two inch diameter cable that was being used in the take down process of five buildings.

A major power supply for the light display and 150 gallons of diesel were taken along with a motor to a storage tank that was locked down.

The thieves cut each of the cords that were frozen in the ice and took the spot lights used to light up the Bentleyville 2018 sign around the 128 foot tall tree.

On Dec. 26 it was Bentleyville's last night on display and two stores in the Santa Claus line were broken into where iPads and other equipment was stolen. The thieves broke in by smashing in a window.

Another incident took place Dec. 16 where vandals were caught on camera breaking into the wishing well.

Back in Dec. 4 and 5 masked vandals caused $2,500 in damage to several buildings in Bentleyville. The vandals caused significant damage to the gift shop in Santa's House and the food and toy donation container.

The post went on to say if anyone has information on the incident, to please share it to Bentleyville's Facebook page or website.
