Bentleyville USA posted on their Facebook page that some of their equipment was vandalized over the weekend. Graffiti was painted on one of the non-profit organization's trucks overnight.

They are asking for overnight volunteers to help add to the security of the display to help prevent anymore damages to the area as they are still working at setting everything up.

More from WDIO

Bentleyville saw it's share of vandalism last season too, when over $2,000 worth of damage was done in the middle of December 2018, and then later when supplies were stolen in January of this year as the display was being packed up.

Those looking to volunteer to assist with putting up the display or with helping make sure the display is secure can message them on their Facebook page, or email Tim, their Event Coordinator, at coordinator@bentleyvilleusa.org.

Bentleyville opens this year on November 23rd.
