In 2017, she was presented with an Upper Midwest Emmy in the General Assignment Report category, which is the only time a reporter from a station outside of the Twin Cities had been presented with an Emmy in that category.

News Director Steve Goodspeed said that Baihly’s reporting strength and experience make her a great fit for her new responsibilities. “Baihly will bring that reporting background and knowledge to the stories she shares from the anchor desk each evening.”
