TWO HARBORS, Minn. - The Amsoil Snocross team raced up to Two Harbors High School Wednesday -- not literally, but they were there to show students how Science, Technology, Engineering and Math are used in racing.

They partnered with the U.S. Air Force to talk about making good career choices and what opportunities are available in the STEM field.

"What we're doing is really reinforcing how critical technology is nowadays with instead of mechanically operating a snowmobile, everything is computer-operated," Steve Scheuring, owner of the Amsoil U.S. Air Force Snocross team, said. "We're trying to reinforce to the students whether you go to work, whether you join the U.S. Air Force, whether you go to college, how that's going to be thrust upon you."

Scheuring also helped present a $200 scholarship today.

The Snocross racers will be busy this weekend with the Amsoil Championship Snocross events, which run Friday through Sunday.
