The Cass County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating a possible drowning on Louise Lake in Wabedo Township, in rural Longville.

Sheriff Tom Burch said on Tuesday at 3:25 p.m. the sherrif's office received a report of the possible drowning.  Deputies and responders then arrived on scene and found a man in the water near a fishing boat. 

The man was pronounced dead on scene, according to the authorities.  

The identity of the man is being withheld, pending notification of family members.  The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office is performing an autopsy.

Authorities are still investigating with the help of the Department of Natural Resource Conservation Officer. 

The incident happened a day after a woman's body was recovered from Leech Lake.
