Organizers say the Winter Fiasco, held at six venues in Lincoln Park on January 11, worked out so well that they have added the Duluth Folk School, Ursa Minor, Duluth Cider, Caddy Shack, and Lake Superior Brewing Company as venues for the 21st Annual Homegrown Music Festival.

The festival will include more than 180 musical acts at 30 venues over an eight-day period, April 28 to May 5.  A full list of performances is available at www.duluthhomegrown.org/schedule.

Meanwhile, this year's Homegrown Mix Tape, curated by Gaelynn Lea, was released Friday on Bandcamp. The 16-track digital album includes songs by Charlie Parr, Low, and many other local artists.
