The 148th Fighter Wing is looking to grow their family. That meant hosting their 2nd annual Career Fair.

About 70 people plus their families had a chance to check things out on base on Wednesday.

"We have 66 different career fields at our base. Everything from medical squadron to aviation to maintenance. We have administrative jobs. We can really run our own little city up here with all the different positions we have," Tech Sgt. Casey Underdahl explained. He's a recruiter for the 148th.

He told us he joined when he was 25, and was looking for a career path and some guidance, and the Air Guard provided that for him, "100%."

For others, it's a family affair. Col. Curt Grayson is the Vice Wing Commander. His father was in the unit for over 30 years. He and his sister joined, and now his kids have as well.

"It's hard to explain what the 148th is, unless you can see it. It's great to see community members up here, so they can see all the jobs that are here," Grayson said.
