Some students at UWS were paying close attention to the State of Union address Tuesday evening.

Jean Germano, a junior at UWS, said he wanted to hear about the United States' presence in the middle east and how the U.S. will address the coronavirus. Germano also said the economy is especially important to him.

"My family has a local business and when when the economy goes poorly, we find out pretty quickly so it'll be good to see what the plans are for the future," said Germano.

Germano works as an editor for the UWS newspaper "Promethean"

Germano said he's been closely following the impeachment trial and special house election in Wisconsin.
