The Minnesota State Patrol says a logging truck travelling with its boom up struck power lines along Highway 45 shortly after 11 a.m. The incident took down several lines and poles. No one was injured.

Highway 45 was closed for several hours while the damage was repaired. Minnesota Power said it had 15 lineworkers on site to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Minnesota Power said power had been restored to about half of the affected customers by 2 p.m. The company's outage map says some customers may not have service restored until 10 p.m.
