This event is for the general public and medical professionals to learn about bleeding control and the innovative research that is improving trauma care in our communities.

5:00-6:00 pm - Exhibitors & Research Poster Reception

6:00-7:00 pm - Keynote Speakers

Massive bleeding from any cause, but particularly from an active shooter or explosive event where a response is delayed, can result in death. However, anyone at the scene can act as immediate responder and save lives if they know what to do. Similar to how the general public learns and performs CPR, the public must learn proper bleeding control techniques. This event will explore the research and practical application of bleeding control techniques, and provide information on who Essentia Health is partnering with to prevent injuries and improve outcomes of trauma patients. This event is free and open to the general public and medical professionals to learn about bleeding control and the innovative research that is improving trauma care in our communities. RSVP today at www.essentiainstitute.org/rsvp.
