Last Day of the Great Northern Classic Rodeo in Superior

Updated: September 02, 2019 03:40 AM

Clowns, cattle, and cowboys were just part of the fun in Superior this weekend as the Great Northern Classic Rodeo came to an end today. The rodeo brought many tourists to the Twin Ports for the three day long event.

Each day a performance was held that included all of the classic cowboy challenges you could expect -- from bronco riding and barrel racing, to breakaway tying calves and the thrilling bull riding.

Today's events also included a watermelon crawl and a calf chase for the kids. A Miracle Rodeo was also held earlier in the day for cowboys and cowgirls with special needs.

Just one of the many fun ways to have fun over this Labor Day weekend.
