Jazmine Hughes sat in her lemonade stand Saturday near 56th Street and Tower Avenue in south Superior.

She was waving at people as they drove by as she sold the lemonade for 25 cents a glass.

Jazmine's mom used to have cancer and one of Jazmine's friends is currently at St. Jude so that was all of the motivation she needed to start her lemonade stand.

"I really want to help St. Jude and my mom had cancer too. I hope everyone helps the St. Jude people, and have a nice day," Hughes said.

Jazmine will also be out again selling lemonade Sunday.
