Celebrate autumn with the Cranberry Festival in Stone Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 2. There are a lot of events planned for the 43rd annual event, with over 300 vendors, artisans, crafters, food and hospitality areas. The Cranberry Festival kicks off at 9 a.m.

According to the Stone Lake Cranbery Festival webpage, the first festival was held in 1978, and has grown ever since. The festival is now a non-profit charitable organization. Proceeds from the festival are donated to area not for profit youth programs. According to the website, the organization has donated over $100,000 over the last three years, to local area youth and non-profit organizations in Sawyer and Washburn Counties.

Some of the activities include Cranberries, Craisins & Festival Apparel on top of the Main Street Hill, Marsh Tours located under Water Tower, Baked Goods and crafts at the First Lutheran Church, Stone Lake Lions Hall Beer, Wine, Brat & Turkey Leg tent.  New this year, a parade on Highway 70 from Dollar General to 1st Street South. The Krate Derby will begin immediately following the parade.
