Public's help needed in locating suspect vehicle in Carlton Co. incident

The Carlton County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the owner and occupants of a vehicle allegedly involved in Friday's suspicious device incident, which evacuated part of the Fond du Lac Reservation. 

Here is the description of the vehicle the sheriff's office gives:

  • Make: Toyota       
  • Model: Camry or Corolla
  • Year: 2013
  • License: Virginia state UEU9422
  • Color: Silver/Light Grey

The sheriff's office says the vehicle was last seen on Ditchbank Road, near a pipeline worksite around 12:00 Friday afternoon.

Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.

Anyone with additional information about the vehicle is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

All tips are anonymous and persons providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction may be eligible for a financial reward, the sheriff's office says.
