Northland Healthy Minds is providing events for the public for Mental Health Awareness Month!  Community members are encouraged to attend, as we work together to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness.  Most events are free and all are open to the public!

Schedule of Events: 
Saturday, April 20 from 6-10 p.m.:  Mental Health Awareness Concert at NorShor Theatre

Wednesday, May 1 from 5-7 p.m.:  Art Workshop: The Mask We Live In at Prøve Gallery 

Thursday, May 2 from 5-7 p.m.:  Art Exhibit Opening: What Mental Illness Feels Like at Zeitgeist Arts Cafe

Friday, May 3, 10, 17 & 30 All day:  Free Fridays at Duluth YMCA

Monday, May 6 from 6-8 p.m.:  Film Screening and Discussion: Inside Out at the Underground

Tuesday, May 7 from 7-9 p.m.:  Documentary Screenings and Discussion: Call Me Mental at Zeitgeist Zinema 2

Thursday, May 9 All day:  Wear Green Day Everywhere 

Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.:  The Improvised Life: Exploring Intersections of Mental Health & Creativity Through Jazz at Denfeld Auditorium

Wednesday, May 29 from 5-6 p.m.: Laughter Yoga at Leif Erikson Park
