The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says the 5th Annual Northland Fat Bike Rally at Lake Bemidji State Park has been canceled.  According to a press release, the event, scheduled for Saturday, March 2 is canceled due to the cold weather and dangerous wind chills.  Organizers say the event will not be rescheduled.

The DNR says the main event was to kick off with a morning mass start on Lake Bemidji and then head into Lake Bemidji State Park and up the Rocky Point Trail. Both a 10K and 28K route were to be offered.
