Driver Not Injured in Crash with Train near Superior

A woman escaped injury when her car collided with a train near Superior on Wednesday morning.


The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. on Ellison Road in the Town of Superior, west of Highway 35.  The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the car collided with the engine of a nortbound BN train.

The 39-year-old Town of Superior woman who was driving the vehicle was not injured.

The sheriff's office and BN Railroad Police are investigating the crash.
