All outdoor play areas including playgrounds and athletic facilities in Cloquet will be closed immediately. The Cloquet Police Department says the move is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sidwalks, trails and other outdoor public areas will remain open but the public is being asked to continue to practice social distancing in these areas.

The City wants to remind residents that all City-owned buildings remain closed to the public. All events, rentals, programs and activities are canceled through Sunday, May 1.
