State parks in northeastern Minnesota are in the midst of a phased reopening after the coronavirus pandemic.

Some parks began opening up camping at remote hike-in campsites last month, and more opened up on June 1.  However, campers will have to wait until June 8 or later to camp in drive-in campgrounds at state parks on the North Shore.

Jay Cooke State Park
Lake Bemidji State Park
Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park

Gooseberry Falls State Park
Itasca State Park
Mille Lacs Kathio State Park
Moose Lake State Park
Savanna Portage State Park
