Around 8:12 PM Monday night, Duluth police officers responded to a report of the sound of shots in the area of 6th Avenue East and 6th Street.
According to a release by the Duluth Police Department, Officers spoke with witnesses and learned a possible suspect may have left the scene shortly after the shots.
This incident is being actively investigated by the Duluth Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
