Shed destroyed, one acre of land burned in grass fire near Cotton

Multiple agencies are actively battling a fire on the Kelsey-Whiteface Road in Kelsey Township, located seven miles west of Cotton.

The Northland FireWire reports about one acre of land is burned, and one shed is destroyed.

Another small building was also damaged, the Northland FireWire reports.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Agencies on scene include Kelsey, Cotton, McDavitt, and the Minnesota DNR.
