Saturday snow causes 221 crashes statewide in Minnesota

After Saturday’s snowfall, messy roads and tricky conditions caused a number of accidents on the road.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported 221 crashes from the hours of 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on November 13th. Of the crashes, 25 were with injury, 89 were vehicle spin outs along with 7 jackknifed semis.

The Duluth Police Department responded to approximately 15 motor vehicle accidents last night from 6 p.m. to about midnight.

None of the incidents were fatal.
