A Northland made movie is now available to stream online. Both the director, Wyatt McDill, and producer, Megan Huber who are married and were born in Bemidji and Princeton, drew on their experiences to make this film happen.

That's not where the Northland ties stop. The filming of their movie "3 Day Weekend" was held in remote areas of Park Rapids and was made with an entirely Minnesotan crew. The thriller is about an amateur camper who wanders into the wilderness and stumbles onto a private property and there is zero dialogue in the entire film.

Both Huber and McDill say that they love filming in Minnesota for a number of reasons, such as ties to the area and their connections to such great film crew in the state.

And they're not done filming here yet- "3 Day Weekend" was just the first installment of a ten part Minnesota based series called "The 10-thousand 10"
'3 Day Weekend' is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video, Showtime, and Sleepercell.tv.
