According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the intersection of Hwy 61 and Lake County Road 3 will remain closed until Monday, June 20 due to work being done on the Stewart River Bridge. MnDOT says the detour extension is needed due to weather delays.

MnDOT says traffic to County Road 3 from Hwy 61 will be routed on a posted detour from Hwy 61 to Lake County Road 2 to Gun Club Road/Lake County Road 24 to County Road 3.

Lake County currently has a closure on County Road 3 between Fors Road and Loop Road for culvert work. Traffic to County Road 3 south of Loop Road will need to travel on Fors Road.

Officials say there will be no interruptions for traffic on Hwy 61.
