The public is invited to attend the dedication of a 30-foot community flagpole at the Knife River Heritage & Cultural Center on Memorial Day. The dedication will begin at 1:00 p.m. The Anderson Claffy Two Harbors American Legion Post 109 will conduct the dedication ceremony.  

The flagpole is being given to the Knife River community by the Albert Wieme family of Knife River in honor of family members, including a brother who served in the Marines.

The Knife River Heritage & Cultural Center is located at 180 Marina Road in Knife River. The public is invited to attend.
