Possible charges could be filed in Aurora, after two men got into a fight Wednesday evening.

The incident happened around 6:20 p.m., between a bow hunter and a city resident, eventually leading to a physical altercation. Police say the city resident pulled a handgun, and fired one shot directly into the ground.

There were no injuries related to the gunshot, only minor injuries to the city resident during the fight.

The investigation is being conducted in collaboration with the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the East Range Police Department, and the Gilbert Police Department. As this is an active investigation, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office will provide an update on the situation once a decision has been made on what charges are being filed, if any. That decision is expected either late Friday, or early next week.
