The Northland is full of organizations working to help the community and Coats for Kids has been one of them for nearly two decades.

Pat and Carla Ringold organized this fundraiser with the simple goal of making sure no child in the Northland is cold in the winter.
Over the years, the community has rallied around this movement- with thousands of coats being collected for kids.

The Ringolds, alongside of multiple community partners, have collected over 25,000 coats in total during their 19 years.

This year there are 12 drop off sites in the area. Collection begins October 1st and ends October 31st, with the Salvation Army distributing the coats November 11-13.
