One cabin was destroyed, and another "extensively damaged" in an early Sunday morning fire south of Aurora, the Northland FireWire reports.

The Northland FireWire says the fire was reported around 4:00 a.m. in the 2900 block of West Cabin Circle in Colvin Township.

Initial reports indicated that one cabin was fully engulfed in flames and the fire had spread to another nearby cabin.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office.

The Colvin, Makinen, Lakeland, Palo, and Aurora fire departments were on the scene and the Hoyt Lakes Ambulance Service provided medical standby.
