Trump administration moves to reverse mineral withdrawal that impacts Twin Metals

(WDIO)
Just a day after news that language was removed from a bill in Congress relating to mining, another development from D.C.
The Trump administration indicated they want to reverse the mineral withdrawal that impacts the Twin Metals project near Ely.
In a tweet, Secretary Rollins from the USDA, said this:
“@SecretaryBurgum and I have been working together to unleash American Energy and today we are taking another step to ensure we are getting back in the mining and energy development game. Today,
@USDA is proud to announce that we are initiating the process to cancel the mineral withdrawal in the Rainey River watershed on the Superior National Forest. After careful review, including extensive public input, the US Forest Service has enough information to know the withdrawal was never needed. We look forward to working with Sec. Burgum to pursue American Energy Dominance and reverse the costly and disastrous policies of the Biden Administration.”
This has environmental groups concerned.
