You may remember a group of dedicated former employees worked tirelessly for years to capture and collect the memories from working there.

"This is one of the most important parts of what we set out to do, educate the next generation about Erie," explained Ron Hein.

Along with the book, comes a digital copy and curriculum for teachers. "They teach the core subjects, and this can enhance with real life history, real life chemistry, and real life geology," Hein added.

You can also access the book at the Arrowhead Libraries.
