Work on Cleveland-Cliffs' HBI facility in Toledo is going to be put on hold because of COVID-19. The company announced on Thursday that they will stop construction at the end of the day on Friday, the 20th.

The company said they will continue to the monitor the situation, and will restart construction as soon as possible. The venture will be fed with DR grade pellets made at Northshore Mining.

According to the statement, all other Cliffs' facilities will remain open. They operate United Taconite, Northshore Mining, and partially own Hibbing Taconite.
