Jared Trimbo combined his passion for sailing with a love for coffee when he launched a small roastery called Full Keel Coffee.

But having a small business hasn’t always been a dream.

“I was working for another roastery that ended up going on a business and I loved that job more than any other job I’d ever had,” Trimbo said.

When they went under, he bought a home roaster and gave beans to friends and family. Demand got high enough that he saw a business opportunity.
