What happens to loyalty rewards when you die?

CREDIT CARD SWIPE (STORYBLOCK)
Many of us receive awards from travel partners, airline miles, and credit cards. Can we pass these “savings” on to a loved one when we die? Michelle Buria, a Certified Financial Planner for Choreo, says the answer may be in the fine print and depends on each company or card’s program.
