Superiorites will welcome neighbors for front porch concerts
Superior Porch Fest kicks off on June 12th and runs through the summer in different neighborhoods of Superior.
Superior Porchfest brings free summer concerts to front porches around the city.
The 2025 kickoff is Thursday in the Hammond Park neighborhood. From 6-8 p.m., three bands will play on three front porches:
- Dance Attic: 2024 Cummings Ave.
- Lindula Brothers: 1924 Cummings Ave.
- Jamie and the Spokes: 1215 Lincoln St.
Siggy’s Musical Garden, the group that puts on Porchfest, was recently named “Citizen of the Year” by Superior Mayor Jim Paine.
As a sneak peek, Russ Sackett performed an original song, “I’ll Be Around.” His band, Sidestreet Detour, plays Porchfest June 26 at 1632 E 8th St. He’ll play an acoustic set to wrap up the summer on Sept. 4 at Girl Scout Landing.
