Espresso martinis are really having a moment. And all week, the Spirit Room is celebrating them.

Owner Lindsey Graskey said March 15 is National Espresso Martini Day, and the Spirit Room’s celebration runs March 12-15.

“We have a real good following for our classic, and we have a really great variation of it on our menu,” she said. “Why don’t we just celebrate this really great resurgence of a cocktail that’s come out of kind of nowhere but people love them?”

She said twists on the classic espresso martini will include flavors like orange and even parmesan cheese. The special menu will be posted on Facebook.

The Spirit Room has been in Superior for 10 years.
